About AP NMR

This symposium provides a unique forum for discussion and collaboration among Asian-Pacific scientists from a multitude of disciplines. Focusing on state-of-the-art methodology and recent NMR spectroscopy application, the symposium boasts an unparalleled scientific opportunity. Young scientists are particularly encouraged to participate.


 
1. Vision

To enhance the international recognition and visibility of the Asian-Pacific NMR community and to promote international scientific exchange between the participating countries as well as with other counties world-wide.

2. Goals

To provide researchers and trainees in Asia and the Pacific Rim with an excellent platform for cutting-edge lectures, meeting with world prominent researchers, networking opportunities, information exchange, all in a relaxing environment. In particular, participation of young scientists in the area should be strongly encouraged.

3. Participating countries (Alphabetical order)

Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan (any other counties in the area are welcome to participate ¡V interested paties should contact the secretary general.)

4. Location

Location and organization of meetings will be rotated among the participating countries.

5. Frequency

Currently Biennial

6. Organization

Two possible scenarios:

  1. The conference organizing committee may consist of two members from the organizing country and one member from other participating countries of the Network.
  2. The Network can comprise the ¡§International Networking Committee¡¨ (INC ¡V naming to be determined) with one (or two) membership from each of participating countries, while each conference may be operated, with support and advice from the INC, by the ¡¥local¡¦ organizing committee of the country in charge, whose memberships can determined by the country.
